Chore Charts For Young Children

Never ever underestimate a child’s ability to help out around the house! {The younger you start, the easier it is!!}

We do not have a paid chore chart in our home right now. We do have an understanding that it takes us all to make things run smooth around here and therefore, we all help out. Every night before bed, the boys make sure all toys are picked up and put where they go. In ALL rooms! This is when I make sure my area {the KITCHEN} is cleaned. All dishes are done and put away, everything wiped down & in order. It makes a HUGE difference in your day if your house is in order the night before! Sorting laundry, loading the washer and emptying the dryer can all be done by even the youngest of kids. {2-4 years old} I’ve even worked out a new system for my laundry and I don’t hate it NEAR as much anymore!

What do you to “keep up”? What kinds of things do your children do?

Today’s freebie comes from Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations. It is a chore chart with instructions on how to make it work for your child!

I think these look pretty awesome and should be able to be used in any family. Let me know what you think! If you choose to download, as always, leave her a comment and let her know you like her work!

If you use a different chart, send me a link to it!
